If the strong force will pull protons together just as strongly as neutrons, why don't we see nuclei with just 2 or 3 or more protons without any neutrons? Why aren't there any helium ions with no neutrons?

So wait. How exactly can deep sea submersibles have windows? No matter how strong the glass is, there is an edge that fits next to the stainless steel frame of the vessel, which needs to remain perfectly sealed at unimaginable pressures.

It was recently hypothesized that our "Planet Nine" could be a primordial black hole. Which of our exoplanet detection methods could differentiate between a planet and a very low mass primordial black hole of similar mass? What different sorts of signatures would we expect to see from such systems?

Why do mammals in hot climates have fur on their whole body? The primary purpose of fur is to keep warmth in, right? Wouldn't most have evolved to have less fur?

Under what conditions does an atom emit a photon? Would it just be the electron(s) emiting the photon(s)? Do magnetized iron atoms emit photons as a product of being repelled or attracted?
