I recently read an article claiming we achieved the first step in teleporting by quantum entanglement. Basically one Patrice on Earth and one particle in space were instantly able to relay their spin info to each other and match their spins. My question is isn't this only useful for data transfer?

What's the evolutionary benefit of vein/lightning like structures? It seems to very previlent in nature from fungi growth, to neurons, all the way to the greater structure of the universe. Why this preticular structure?
