If I measured the same lux from a red LED and a white LED, can I assume they have the same lumen output? Or does a lux meter measure colored light sources differently than white light?

Are the lumens/lux measured from a colored list source (using a simple lux meter) equivalent to a white light source? Or would colored light measure differently for some reason?
