With all the news of recent Methane blooms off the ocean floor, do we really understand both where these blooms are coming from and how Methane truly works in the atmosphere?

Recently read the ozone hole is being repaired by the excess global warming gasses and that the ozone hole kept the planet cooler. Would making the ozone hole bigger again help fight global warming?
