I just watched a repair video of a color CRT monitor. The part I don't understand is, if they R/G/B dots are right next to each other, how can you freely rotate the deflection yoke without getting a rainbow effect?

If a car's drag is due to a high pressure zone in front and a low pressure zone in the back, could one try to move that air in the front, through the car (e.g. a pipe) to the back, and reduce drag that way?

How is wind able to carry sounds (e.g. a church bell from the neighboring town you usually never hear)? It would seem wind speeds are negligible in comparison to the speed of sound.

How does medical triage work? E.g. when there is a natural disaster and far more people arrive in an ER than can be handled, are there established guidelines who to treat and who not? How do you weigh two semi-sick people vs one really sick person (who might not survive no matter what you do)?

There are a large number of websites that try to model the future behavior of the pandemic. To my knowledge very few of them assess their own accuracy; are their meta-analysis papers that look at which approaches have done well and which haven't?
