Sometimes in the summer, especially when the sun is breaking through the clouds, it feels like the sun is "hammering down" much more than on other equally hot but clear-skied days. Is there an objective aspect to this, or is it purely subjective?

Research seems to suggest that a natural Covid infection confers no better protection than a vaccination. However, there's all this news about nasal spray vaccination that supposedly will lead to better protection. Is that not something you would get from a natural infection?

To my understanding, the reason why indoor air in winter is so dry is because when heated up, the relative humidity decreases because air's capacity to hold moisture increases. Does that mean people wouldn't have dry skin if they didn't heat the place?

Young birds spend a lot of time in the nest being fed by their parents. Why aren't the nests full of bird poop?
