Is there a general consensus on which throwing event is more “prestigious” between Shotput, Javelin, Hammer, and Discus? Or are they all viewed as pretty much equal?

Can someone explain why the 100m freestyle is more valued than the 50m freestyle? Wouldn’t the 50m be equivalent to the 100m in track since it’s straight speed without stopping?
