[WP] You solved Fermi's Paradox. A simple, reasonable, easy physics experiment (The Mistake) would cause Vacuum Decay. If there were anybody out there they'd have made The Mistake and we (and the rest of the Universe) wouldn't be here. Now you have to convince your lab partner not to try it.
