What units/tactics are most effective against spear and shield units? Specifically, against the Aegean?

Does anyone know the logic the AI uses for recruitment, regarding their army composition? Coming across lots of enemies with 50% missile/50% melee, or 50% chariot/50% melee for example.

Can’t find any guides on using overall new mechanics in Pharaoh Dynasties. Or specific faction guides. I would love some resources please.

Playing as Mycenae, made Menelaus marry Helen of Troy. Okay. Nothing happened. Family tree doesn’t show menelaus, I don’t know if they ever had kids (not that I know how to see that). Is this a bug? I’m so confused.
