[WP] Its the future, things like war, poverty, and aging are no more. You're 70, you think of yourself as an adult, but your legions of multi-century old grandparents still think of you as a child. There is a family reunion coming up and your not looking forward to it.

Someone discovered a Magic 8 Ball that seems to give true answers to any yes or no question. After a short period of skepticism, the world started believing the Ball. But the Ball isn't truthful, it is malicious. It was helpful at first to gain trust and power. Now, its evil plan can unfold.

The whole world has gone infertile children of men style, but it's less bad than you would think because we cured aging around the same time. Post infertility, world governments place a lot more value on human life because a worker that dies is one that can't ever be replaced.
