[WP] Philosophers are the wizards who live in literal ivory towers. The greater philosopher the grander the tower. Daily they proclaim a quote from the balcony which has magic effects on the townsfolk. A ragged stranger appears, builds a straw tower and proclaims that ivory poaching is wrong.
