In WW1 and WW2, thousands of Americans volunteered to serve in Canadian armed forces before the U.S. entered the war. How did this effect their draft status if those people were drafted by the U.S.? Were there actions criminal or punished? How was the situation handled?

Uniform uniforms are relatively recent, even if there was some uniformity in the past, depending on the nation. Medieval armies were sort of a patch work though. When a besieging force would breach a city and sack it, how would soldiers identify and thus avoid killing their own side?

Some of the sculptures made before modern times seem... almost impossible in fine detail to make without breaking something. Were there any methods available to or used sculptors to repair small, fine details without them being detected? Glue or other bonding agents?

Salting the earth has been used to punish losers of wars. But have invasive species ever been used as a weapon of war or revenge after a war? I do not mean things like plague rats to spread disease, I mean the introduction of animals or plans to play havoc with the local ecosystem.
