[WP] Fantasy races exist. Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, etc. they all are space faring and use magic to make their technology possible. Humans are new to the galactic scale, and cannot use magic… which makes us so dangerous to ourselves and others.

[WP] Humanity has entered the Galactic Alliance. We are amongst many other races, such as elves and orcs, and all of them can use magic except us. However, because our understanding of the universes laws are so advanced, we are truly a force to be reckoned with our advanced technologies.
