[WP] The asteroid belt used to be a planet, and it was alive and hungry, and could take control of people. Humans destroyed it, but parts of it crashed into Earth and sent humanity technologically before the Stone Age. A remnant of the planet is now found, taking over its discoverers, still hungry.
