The only warning was a scream. As the cool dawn seeped into burning light and heat, just as we curled up in our beds, feeling safe enough to close our eyes, that awful scream cut through the air. We weren't ready, but it had happened. The humans were back. And they were as awful as the stories said.

[WP] For Halloween, you make a wig out of yarn and try it on. It fits perfectly and it's warm, so you leave it. Without realizing you're still wearing it, you fall asleep. You wake the next morning and the yarn has replaced your hair.
