[WP] There was nothing remarkable about her at all. Except that she, a complete stranger, sat down next to you & said with sincere compassion, "I am so sorry old friend, but you'll have to face it alone now." It was that look of pity that stuck with you, and not how she died the very next moment.

[WP] It was supposed to be a normal inquiry to an ancestry service. People get surprising results all the time. And there's the occasional mix-up of course. But this? Are they even aware what they sent in? They didn't just submit non-human DNA, they submitted DNA that doesn't exist on this planet.
