[WP] It turns out that simulation theory is demonstrably proven. Our entire universe exists in an artificial construct. Shortly afterwards, hackers discover work-arounds that exploit the simulation code. They can give themselves super powers, or create miracles.

[WP] Aliens arrive just as humans are leaving the shelters following the bad times. They've been watching our broadcasts from years ago and they especially want to meet dogs. They are very disappointed to learn that no dogs remain, people not prioritising dog survival when humanity was on the brink.

[WP] The aged King, in the twilight of his life, calls his daughters to his bedside to decide the fate of the kingdom upon his death. Unlike as occurred in King Lear, none of the daughters want anything to do with the kingdom.

[WP] Through some mechanism, you travel through time and meet a musical idol who died too young and you know why. Kurt Cobain maybe. You would like to talk them out of their self destructive behavior so they continue to create. You try to convince them.
