[WP] An automaton thief lurking somewhere in the city is known to steal random objects with seemingly no rhyme or reason. Their goal is actually very simple - Take what they need to repair themselves. They're reaching the limits of the repairs they can perform without outside help, though.

[WP] It's a well-known fact that the altitude one's body can sustain in flight is tied strongly to their age. There are other factors that can influence maximum height - Poor health can ground you pretty badly, extra effort can give you a small boost. But touching the heavens is for the elders.

[WP] There's a library in the abandoned house. A single book remains intact on a table. Spattered in copious blue stains, otherwise untarnished, and untouched by the cobwebs choking the rest of the room. Simple leather binding, a title in gold leaf: "How to hit spiders with a book."

[WP] Your tools all have these little flashlights in them, that turn on when you use them. This is usually a convenience. Now it's a death sentence - Because that THING is ATTRACTED to light. You have to gut your tools, in the near pitch dark, just to safely fix something you really, really need.

[WP] The Watching Stone. An enormous black obelisk, its surface deep and translucent; pinpricks of red light float within, following every living thing near it. The denizens of the nearby village either avoid it, or pay it no mind - But a select few speak to it. Only now has it ever spoken back.

[WP] Throw together a narrative that is on the cusp of coherency - Almost completely nonsensical, but with just enough structure to maybe, possibly impart some kind of meaning. Achieve this in any way you see fit; a kitchen sink plot, intentional garbling, maybe just being incredibly long winded.
