[WP] You live in a country where murder is legal - The catch is, it has to be declared a week in advance. The aggressor has to wait the full week, but the victim may begin defending themselves immediately upon receiving notice. While a legitimate threat is legal, a false one is very much not.

[WP] Ship builder's code dictates there are three redundant AIs installed in every ship. The same three in every ship - Copies of three larger hiveminds. They're known as Athena, Apollo, and... Gruuz. No one has been able to translate the languages Gruuz speaks, but damn if it's not good at its job.

[WP] Few people realize that it's someone's job to rate the difficulty of various dungeons before a single group of adventurers sets foot inside to clear it properly. A dangerous profession, at times worse than thankless. But, it keeps rookie parties safe, and keeps veterans from wasting their time.

[WP] You live with your great great great great... You forget exactly how many generations back she's from, but she's really old, and she's your grandmother. Looks half a corpse. Mostly hisses instead of talks. Alarmingly spry at times. You two have gotten along pretty well since she took you in.

[WP] A "young" elf is constantly surrounded by people who have had thousands of years to become hundreds of times better at everything than you. Which is why most elf "children" choose to "mature" among other species. It gives a much needed ego boost, even in the worst case scenarios.

[WP] The killbot twitches. You pray. It twitches, then seizes. It's "brain" is refactoring to use the scraps of hardware the damn thing still has left. It'll get up again, and you're not sure how fast. You're out of ammo. And then... It speaks. "Weird. I don't think I've ever been sentient before."

[WP] An old man has been Chosen... To deliver the One Sword to the actual Chosen One. One problem - He has no idea who they are, where they are, or even what they look like. No help from those doing the choosing, either, it seems - Time for some creative problem solving.

[WP] You stumble upon a sword that at first glance seems rather impressive. You discover that it's sentient... And terrible. As dull as butter, and heavy as lead. As you talk to it, the problem becomes apparent - It's never seen combat, nor a soul in a century, and it's depressed.

[WP] The Goddess of Desperation is known only by her most obvious patrons - Anything and anyone fighting backed into a corner, trying to eke hope out of hopelessness. Wild animals and people alike know her touch, but she's usually subtle. That changes when a stubborn soldier flat out refuses to die.
