[WP] An alien automated interstellar probe arrives in the system and begins orbiting the sun. It siphons hydrogen and oxygen from the solar wind, and accelerates it towards the Earth. The gargantuan torrent of water is raising the sea level by a foot every day. It's a terraforming engine.

The archmage was born without legs. While they do technically have a prosthetic, it's basically a decorative stand for their torso. This has led to them becoming the leading expert on teleportation efficiency, but there are still some times where it makes sense to use less "dignified" locomotion.

[WP] Setting up to assault the big bad's fortress, your camp is discovered by a scout. You capture them easily, but dispatching the foe... Just doesn't work. Nothing any of you try seems to kill the otherwise bog-standard, unassuming mook - And you all start to suspect this will be a running theme.
