[WP] Your wife has been missing for a few days. You wake up and go to the bathroom, and there she is -- in the mirror. She looks sad -- from her point of view, you're the one that went missing. You yell and pound on the mirror, but she can't hear you. She just goes about her business as usual.

"Relax, these things are perfectly safe to fly on 3 engines." Then he snaps his fingers again, and another engine falls off. "NOW things should get interesting."

If we could look at our spacecraft that are heading towards interstellar space (Pioneer 10/11, Voyager 1/2, New Horizons), what sort of wear and tear would we see on them?

Sometimes while lying in bed, I'll feel the sensation of my cat walking on the bed (e.g., the feeling of the blankets being pressed down by their paws as they walk around); but when I open my eyes, there's nothing there. Is there a name for that sensation? What causes that?

Are we born knowing how to see and hear? Or do our brains have to teach themselves how to interpret the signals coming from the eyes and ears?

When I've done an activity for hours on end and then go to bed shortly after, I'll enter this state where my mind thinks I'm still doing that activity, and I don't sleep well as a result. Is there a name for that phenomenon?
