After reaching a certain power level, beings are warped to the intergalactic council to judge if they are fit to wield their power- often enough to destroy entire planets or solar systems. You are swinging around a wooden sword, almost completed with your original sword technique when you warp.

[WP] Why do so many alien armies have a vulnerable "central core"? It turns out that aliens have the rule: "shooting the enemy commander is a grave sin" among other "war guidelines", much like humans during premodern times.
