[WP] Humans, the only species who developed FTL travel using a warp bubble, are seen as a joke. What they call riding the wave, brought out what they call a "surfer" culture, and they take nothing seriously. What the rest of the galaxy didn't realize was they were just on vacation.

[WP] One major evolutionary advantage is an animal's ability conserve energy. Once humans got to space we realized our productiveness and metabolism was off the charts compared to most other spacefaring species.
