[WP] I've always wanted to read a short story about an alien fleet that shows up and flies past the sun, darkening our skies, only to stop at Saturn. They completely consume Saturn's rings to get water and then move on, utterly ignoring us.

Filling a black hole: Is there some upper limit to the mass of a highly negatively charged black hole where it doesn’t matter how energetically you accelerate electrons towards it the mutual repulsion will make the electrons glance off before getting close to the event horizon?
