[WP]William, Duke of Normandy, is preparing to cross the English Channel in 1066. As his fleet sets sail, they see across the Channel an immensely larger fleet of metal monstrosities as far as the eye can see, the fleet preparing to launch the 1944 invasion of Normandy during WWII.

[WP] One day, you wake up and a friend of yours has completely disappeared, and nobody seems to remember him/her. This continues throughout the day, with people disappearing from existence and new people being added seemingly at random, but you're the only one who recognizes it is happening.

[WP] An alien armada has appeared in orbit of Earth. Their commander states that Earth is to be occupied by force after the alien peace envoy was brutally murdered. No public record of aliens exists prior to the armada. After a while, it becomes clear that the peace envoy had landed in North Korea.
